Jim Pieri

Jim Pieri is the Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Assured Healthcare Partners. In addition to chairing the Investment Committee, Jim leads investments across a range of subsectors and serves on the boards of several of AHP’s companies in post-acute/long-term care, behavioral health and physician services related segments. Prior to AHP, he was a Partner and Head of Private Healthcare at BlueMountain Capital Management. During his tenure at BlueMountain Capital Management, he built and managed a portfolio of over $2 billion of private investments across the capital structure in healthcare, financial services, and real asset related sectors. Previously, Jim was a Managing Director, heading various principal finance & structuring businesses at Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan.

Mr. Pieri received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University and a M.P.A. with a concentration in Economic Policy & Management from the School of International & Public Affairs at Columbia University.
